After viewing the DVD Who Killed The Electric Car recently I realized that not having electric cars readily available to the public, right here in Canada and the US, seemed like an obvious conspiracy to me. People do not even want gas cars and with the failing automotive companies, it is also rather apparent. Instead of providing people with clean and cheap transportation, they opted for dirty and more costly… in the long run it only cost them. Greed was an obvious factor because electric cars would not require as many parts and that meant a lot less profit. Plus, electric cars last a lot longer than gas guzzlers. The auto companies with electric battery technology ended up selling that to an oil company? Well people are taking maters into their own hands, literally! They are converting gas cars into electric and YouTube already has several videos demonstrating this incredible transformation. Even Hybrids are being customized to Plug-In Hybrids. The Toyota Prius is the most common hybrid being converted with two current methods. If you would rather have someone else convert for you there are existing companies that will do it for you or you can purchase a kit.
